Do you think languages other than English have slang names for The Dick?

I had imagined there were British, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish... well you get the picture... other names in other languages and maybe some of them were funny or at least interesting.

Or more correct, let's start with a phrase so fuckin' old it should rather be talked about as Old Norse : "KUKR KUSKUTU / KYS"

WTF is this? It's a runic inskription found on a cattle rib during an archeological excavation in 1979 in present day Oldenburg, Holstein, Germany, viking age Starigard.

There are two simple problems before we can do a reading: KUSKUTU is two words, KUS which is just another spelling of KYS (= eng. kiss), while the T-rune in KUTU can be read NT, i.e. KUNTU.

So we have KUKR KYS KUNTU KYS.

KUKR is our old friend "kuken" (in Swedish) or the "cock" (in english), while KUNTU is what the english call "cunt" and in swedish: "kutta" or "kunta" ( the more familiar cunt-word in swedish is of course "fitta").

Lexicographer Bengt G. Dagrin says in the 4th edition 2008 of his standard lexicon Stora Fula Ordboken that the cock got 1887 names in swedish (with all it's dialects and sociolects).

It's fascinating that the central sex-words (cock, cunt, fuck) are such magnets of linguistic creativity, but what's truly special and a bit strange in my opinion, is that the cock-, fuck-, cunt-words don't figure much in traditional Swedish swearing!

I mean when Americans are into swearing and cussing, it's "go fuck yourself", "fuck off", "fuck", "cocksucker", "cunt" - and all possible variants and variations. And I think it's just about the same in Italian, Spanish and Russian, all possible variations on "I'm fucking your mum" or "take a big horse cock in your mouth".

But traditional Swedish swearing is a) theological/demonolgical: all possible variations and combinations of devil, satan and hell; b) scatological: shit and piss. So a piece of traditional swearing could be : "- Skit på'rä å dra åt helvete din djävla djävel! Faaaaaaaan också!"
