So is alfafile.net allowed file host ? Anyone got thoughts on the host I been seeing it around.

Like Frenchgerman and zuluman2, I find it slow, tends to fail to download, even while saying it is downloading, and limited number of downloads. A two-part film can take six days with two failures out of three on average.

It is currently allowed as a mirror ONLY...and many do not have great thoughts of it..

for me alfafile is not that good because it only allows 1 download until I restart my laptop ... or (every 24H). If the download aborts for whatever reason ... your bad !


A good filehost seems to be uploadrocket ...

Unfortunately, uploadrocket is not is not yet permitted. I uploaded some files with it and was told that it can't be used by itself. You can use it if you also have another, accepted host along with it. But, the good news is that they are considering adding it, after I suggested it to them, as it is free and available in the U.S., which is required.

I'm almost afraid to say anything nice in case it stops working for me, but for now, it's proving one of the better services out there for me.
