It is finally so warm here in north that it could be called spring :D
How is your spring where you live? Warm already? And if you have any nice spring photos, even better :)

Happy spring time everyone :D

The UK has had the hottest Easter in over 60 years! It's been like the middle of summer. 27 degrees C (over 80F) in places ! Last record was in 1949 when it hit 28.

I'm not a fan of the heat , but it's going to cool down from today thankfully.

Wow  And I thought we had warm here (Finland) yesterday (18 C)...
I'm not a fan of the heat either and I burn too easily. Yesterday I was about 20 minutes in the sunshine and almost burned myself already ~X(

Been a good Spring here. I've been doing a lot of hiking and the beaver dams are jacked sky high. I like walking on top of the dams during high water like now but have yet to see a beaver. I hike almost daily, often 5 miles, no bugs yet. My magnolia tree in the yard often gets frost damaged but has managed to get through so far with blossums intact, but its been close. (Magnolias are southern trees which can struggle through here in New England) Its loaded with blooms this year.

Will be getting the bicycle out any day now.

Hot weather is not for me but here the warm, white nights (sun just goes below the horizon for a moment, northern Finland it doesn't go down at all) are my favorite. I think you'd like them ;)

Wow! Would love to experience those Scandinavian summer nights.

Don't think I could cope with the almost endless dark winters though. My favourite day is a bright sunny cold day where the air is crisp.

Summer nights here are the best :D
Your favorite day sounds good too, except bright light hurts my eyes. I think I'm suitable for our dark winters :p

Yer today (Friday) is a scorcher here in the UK. Im also not a fan of the sun any more. Used to be when I was a kid and tanned VERY easily. Now I just burn :-(

All this sun is good for my solar installation... So hay BRING IT ON :)

I love summer. I spend nine months of the year wishing for it.
I love the heat and humidity. I suppose it's because where I am we're freezing more than half the year.
I just hate being cold.

Some tornadoes swept through here 2 days ago. A couple of folks died, many injured, the middle of the state got wiped out. Think I'll take a ride out there tomorrow to view the devastation.

You're perverse :))

I saw this on the news here it was quite terrible really. If I was closer I'd not be going to view, I'd be going to help!

Not much to do other than not get in the way. Power company is busy restoring wires and road crews clearing trees out of the road. Anyways, seeing this stuff gives one some perspective as to just how powerful the forces of nature are.

Took a ride over to Springfield Massachussetts yesterday afternoon to see the after-effects. The path of destruction was a str8 line, east to west, maybe 1/8 of a mile wide. Huge tree ripped out of the ground, those not ripped out had their tops ripped off, branches all gone.

The tornado went through a section of downtown, down the main street, knocking out sections of buildings, and windows. Then through an urban residential area, slicing off sections of buildings and roofs. Then it jumped maybe a 1/4 mile before coming down again in another neighborhood. Trees through roofs of houses, roofs gone, walls gone, 200 year trees reduced to kindling.

Lots of streets were blocked off, cops everywhere, lots of debris already cleared up into big bundles, people walking around checking it all out, bars were open and a somewhat party atmosphere. The town looks more like a logging camp than a banking center.
