any good gay themed games?

i searched for a while but the closest i got to one
is playing sims ... which isnt really a gay themed game

so - what do you say guys ? any recommendations?

A lot of the Sims game series can be gay themed.
And Xbox360's famed Fable 2 (as well as the first ones) has a bunch of gay characters.
... the latter I don't have myself but I've heard a lot about it.

For xBox 360, both Fable TLC (The Lost Chapters) and Fable 2 give the player the ability to choose to be gay. However, in Fable 2 you can either choose to be a male or female hero. You can dress as a female if you're male and vice versa. You can also be married to multiple male and/or female villagers. In one of the two released DLC (downloadable content) to Fable 2, you are introduced to several bi characters.

If you want to go mainstream, I highly recommend Fable 2. If you want some background before going to 2, give Fable TLC a try. Fable 2 is playable on the 360 and with backward compatibility, you can even play TLC on the 360 too! Trust me, if you get into Fable 2 you can quickly get addicted to it because of so many variables the game throws at you. Good luck and happy gayming!!

the problem is that i dont have xbox 360, just pc and ps2

Gay games

There is an RPG for the PSone (also playable on PS2) called Suikoden II
which is supposed to have a very emotional 'bromatic' storyline, I've never played it because it's hard to find and costs a fortune on ebay...but if you have the money you should get it. I've only read about it but people say the characters are covertley gay.


Many speculate this series deliberately tries to appeal to fans of gay/boy-love manga in Japan . This very evident in the character design for the most recent game Suikoden Tierkreis for the DS(DSi).

Which is easier to find, it's currently available in stores. I don't know how old you are(I'm 32) but Nintendo is coming out with a DSi with extra large screens in the spring so I would recommend you wait 'till then as it will be easier on the eyes. It's not a gay game but aesthetically it is basically a game staring a bunch of pretty twinks. It may not overtly gay themed but the characters will appeal to you.

For the same reasons I would also recommend Final Fantasy XII (12) for the PS2. The character design is obviously gay friendly and the boy staring in the game just gorgeous to watch...for hours and hours. May people also suspect that there are gay artists involved in this series because of the some of the character design.

All these are RPG's and are easy to play.

Besides that I would also say Bully, you can find a used PS2 version but it also has an exellent Wii version. It's a real gem of a game which got great reviews and the boy kissing never gets old:

So thats Bully, Final Fantasy XII and Suikoden II for your PS2. But if your really want to explore new games I really think you should get an new system like an Xbox 360 or Wii and a DSi.

There are a lot of 'flowery' characters in Suikoden II, I'm lucky enough to have bought it when it was released and have never let it go! It's a real gem of a game and I can play it over and over again! One of the, if not THE best, RPGs ever!

OMG Squallmuzza I'm so jealous! I've only read about it so let me ask you...without spoiling anything , do the two main leads have and epic bromance? Like the guys who are the heroes are sort of close or is it just the two comic relief characters I've read about?

Also if you remember... If it came out on the PSone does that mean it only uses the d-pad? If I played It on a PS2 could I potentialy use the analougue stick for menue navigation and all that? Just wondering because I have some tendinitis in my left thumb...the d-pad kills me right off.

Dragon Age Origins allows you to be a gay character, if I remember correctly. I read about it somewhere.

But gay games? I don't know any. Would love to see one though.

lol Suikoden series is my favorite, If you couldnt get it back in PSX time, try to find the iso and emulator, it's quite easy to use and ok in any computer, I'm playing Suikoden Tierkreis for Nintendo DS now, it's pretty fun too, just lost a bit of the freedom on maps and a few other things. But u still have to recruit all 108 chars for the real ending xD.
