Hi all, I'm 21 soon to be 22 and lately I've been bitten by the retro bug. Also since I'm not a fan of the newer HD twins and all the mainstream shooters, I decided to talk about retro gaming. Consoles, handhelds, arcade,etc.

Currently I own all the Nintendo home consoles (NES to Wii U), a 3DS, a PS2 and PS3, Sega Genesis, gaming PC, and a Dreamcast.

Favorite console is still SNES and so far I have 45 games for it. Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Mario All Stars, Street Fighter II, etc.

I'm currently playing Yoshi's Island.

So what retro consoles do you have and what games are you currently working on from Atari 2600 to the days of PS2, GC, Xbox, DC.

I have a SNES and a PS2. I really want a Retron 5 which plays NES, SNES, Genesis, Famicon, and GBA games all on a single console but with bad builds and the company raising the MSRP from 99 to 149, with a 129 break in-between, I probably won't get that any more.

I'm currently not playing anything of worth at the moment. I'm trying to save for a 3DS, and I'll probably start playing some retro games from the virtual console. I could never get into Yoshi's Island, it just wasn't my cup of tea. My favorite game from SNES is Super Mario RPG. I think I have played and beat that game maybe 5 times in the last 10 years.

Secret of Mana for SNES is such a classic! If you like RPGs, I would recommend Terranigma (it was a sleeper hit and never released in the US, due to religious censorship)!!

I'm currently replaying FFVII for Playstation (it's so hilariously kitsch and blocky)

PS2 is my all-time favorite system. I can't even count how many times I've gone back to Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. So many great games on that system.
