Asfile seesm to have disappeared.

For the last two days I cannot connect to Asfile. Until then it has been a pretty good and fast host.

Has anyone heard anything about Asfile or why it has gone down?

It loads for me just fine. Are you using a VPN? Maybe it's for your country?

Thanks for the reply. No, I'm not using a VPN and it worked fine until yesterday. All other forums are ok. My accounts is also Premium valid until 25-06-2013. I live in Israel and there is no blocking of sites or censorship.

I just tried loading the site again and it works. It may not be your country that is blocking access to the website, but Asfile blocking your IP for some reason. I would suggest emailing their support and provide your IP to them.

Does their support site load for you? http://support.asfile.com/

I don't see an email listed on their website. All their support and contact links to their support area I linked above. So I did a domain WHOIS to get the contact email they provided for their domain and got the following email address you could try: asfile.com@whoisprotectservice.net

They use a WHOIS privacy protection, so their normal email address is hidden, however if you email that email, all emails will be forwarded to the correct email they have on file for their domain registration. It is legally required (by ICANN) that they have a proper email on record for contact.

Asfile OK now.

Firstly, thanks to all.

I solved the problem by going to command prompt (cmd) as an administrator and entered the command ipconfig/flushdns.

As I couldn't get onto their sight I got someone in Belgium to open a Support Ticket with my email address. I received a reply very quickly and a follow up. Very good service from Asfile.

Here is Asfile's support email address: support@asfile.com if any of you need it.

Ah I assume this means they recently changed their IP or DNS servers. If you didn't do ipconfig /flushdns the issue would have resolved on it's own in time. Pretty much your computer was connecting to the old IP/DNS information.

Glad it's all fixed :)
