I've got avg, sandboxie & running xp sp3. Several sites are downloading
the fbi moneypak malware ( for example http://refhide.com/?http://www.twinkmpegs.com/) as soon
as I hit their link. How do other visitors to adult sites avoid this malware?
Black gay sites are full of this stuff. How do others avoid this problem?
There's a program called "Deepfreeze" that's supposed to protect you--has
anyone used it with success? Has anyone emailed a site to inform them
that it's a magnet for malware?

Getting off the very old and very primitive Windows XP would be a good first step in more protection. Windows 7 has a much better security architecture than Win XP.

Deep Freeze is an extreme solution - it means that each time you reboot your computer everything that changed since you froze the computer will vanish. It's great for public access computers in schools and libraries, but a very bad fit for home use.

The easiest way to be as safe as you can is to install Linux and boot into that for your porn habits.

But - if you find a site full of malware, the best thing to do will always be the same, leave, and never come back!

use symnantec software for protection - blocks most malware.

And eats most of your system resources.

Security Essentials is a free, capable and efficient AV for Windows, you don't need bloatware resource hogs like Norton (symnantec's AV product) or McAfee to protect yourself.

Call me old-fashioned, but I bought a computer so I could do some computing, not to have AV software using all my resources so I can't!
