In my experience, anal sex can be painful - or not. But the difference isn't whether a condom is involved. It has more to do with what you are used to, the luck of the draw regarding physical anatomy, and the skill (or lack thereof) of the top.

So true: some of these guys need to get a better grip on their acting skills.

But really, its just the presentation and storyline the studio or clip is trying to convey. Most clips use condoms, so you're more likely to see a "joyfully fucked" vibe in those. Condoms aren't too conducive of "rough sex" fantasies on video, so you're much more likely to see a rougher "ooh, it hurts so much, but don't stop, fuck me HARDER!" vibe in a bareback clip. The whole "I seduced a straight guy" or "a straight guy forced me" trip is more believable without condoms.
