Beard Question

Hey Guys!

I have decided to grow out my beard for the fall/winter. I'm getting a little older and I now have two grey patches in my beard around my chin. I don't have any grey in my hair yet so I'm considering coloring it.

Should I color it or let it be? Thoughts?

I'd advise against colouring - be yourself. I'm in the same situation, and I'm not even considering colouring it.

I say you should try it. It washes out in no time if you don't like it. Don't ask anyone how it looks. Wait to see if they notice. If no one notices then it's natural looking. If they do notice you can decide if that's something you like about it or not.

If you don't try it you might always wish you had when you had the chance, lol.

I agree with Sniffit, you should try it. I tried it a little while ago and ran into a couple of problems: 1. color matching will be a bitch, unless you are planning to color your entire beard, 2. I will assume to shower at least once a day, and unless you buy the really expensive stuff, your color will wash out within a few days and not last the advertised 2-3 weeks. Don't forget about washing after the gym or washing your face at night before bed - all will quickly wash out the color. I decided that it just was't worth it and now rock the grey, but it is an acceptance process, one you will have to own! Good Luck!

Yeah try it, if you think it, and see if you like it. But there's somenthing sexy about men who are comfortable being what they are, just as they are Comfortably wearing gray, hes confident, I'd go for it

I'm another one that's all salt and pepper now. It's not a problem, I don't mind it, nobody else seems to notice so I don't want to waste time frigging about with messy dyes. If you feel like it is worth the effort then go ahead but remember, there is such a thing as trying too hard.
