Brent Everett is married?

It's complicated...
Brent married Steve Pena on 10/03/2008. They were married in both California and Canada. As a Canadian citizen, Brent is required to return to Canada every 90 days. A couple of years ago, while returning to the US their flight was diverted to Chicago where their marriage was not recognized and Brent was refused entry to the US. This led to a lengthily legal battle which I'm still not sure if it has been settled.
Brent's husband Steve Pena is a former Navy Corpsman from Texas who was discharged for being gay and is also Brent's manager and business partner. He has been an outspoken advocate for gay rights, marriage, and gays in the military.
Then there's the third wheel, Jason Smith. Who appears to be their boyfriend. At least on the surface. There has been some speculation that even though Brent and Steve are still married and business partners, they are no longer together. That while Brent was cooling his heels in Canada unable to enter the US, Steve was living with Jayson in DC. And that being "Gay Icons" and the poster boys for gay marriage, Brent and Steve are just pretending that they are still together and Jayson is a shared boy toy...

From what they share on social media they are a thruple in a polyamorous relationship. If they are just pretending, they excel at it because from the outside it really seems (to me, at least) a real thing.
On the other end it's true that their "marketing value" as a married couple and/or polyamorous triad is probably much higher than what it would be if they split, so that may have entered the equation anyway.
Since I find them cute (besides hot...
), until proved otherwise I'm happy to believe that they are a happy triad.
