brother care

on januari 30th my older brother (61 yo) got a heartattack on his work.
I heard it when he was already in the hospital and they had give him the right treatment. At that moment the worst nightmare becomes you.
Now he is already home again and today he had his first eercises in the hospital so he can be come stronger and i hope better.
I have vist him every day in the hospital and at his home, and i am glad i can do that for him. Helping him and take care of him.
I hope the spring will start this week so he can make some little tours on his bike and maybe i can make some tours with him as his compagnion.

So next month i hope can teel you more.

Hello Ramzie.
I did family care for ten years for my aunt and parents. It's pretty stressful, but also pretty rewarding if it's for someone who deserves it. (My family certainly deserved it).
Here's a few thoughts.
-If there are others who can help, say yes. If you have to ask, then ask. You will also have people who are quick to criticize, and slow to help. It really is good to know the difference.
- some days you'll do your best; other days you'll fall short. You're only human.

Your brother is only sixty one. He might have many good years ahead...with you.

I haven't discussed this outside the VIP area, but on Feb. 9, at age 41, I also suffered a massive heart attack. Given that the type of attack I had is called "The Widow Maker" and has a 95% fatality rate, I was damn lucky...

I was able to come home on Feb.14 and I start both rehab and back to work tomorrow...
