That phrase was in his eulogy and it's in his biography as well... known the man very well for I worked for him early 95 to 1997. And I was among the former models to be at his funeral in 2008 in his hometown... Cadinot was the best no doubt... the greatest, the most versatile and internationalized... male beauty for him had no boundaries of races, religion and forms... when you were cute for JD, you were cute Punto Finalmente. No one today could ever equals his work and they can try. George Duroy (Belami) tried but if he would just a little let some colors in its model farm that would make him a bigger star then he is. Therefore JDC was before its time... way before its time and for having worked with him we were just not fucking... we we're making LOVE that's what he asked of us and that what we gave him because he knew how to direct his models. :cheers:His parents were tailors, lived in Paris, near the Montmartre. Funny, they made a habit of dressing males. He mainly undressed them.

No envy to be had... first this wasn't an International career it was just porn, and JDC often said it... "Si tu n'es pas photographe, director d'edition ou tu n'excerse pas quelques autres nobles professions, ta carriere en pornographie ne t'apportera pas toujours du pain sur la planche, vas a l'ecole et instruit toi" - If I translate this it goes like that: "If you're not a photographer, editor or pursuing any other noble profession, go to school and get an education, because porn will not always pay the bills."Wow, Jake. I envy you. Must be great to have known this great man!
Cadinot definitely had an eye for the most beautiful men in the world, no doubt about that, and I do love many of his movies, but sometimes the sex is just too violent for me, and it really turns me off. Everyone's tastes is different, so I'm sure many people like the rougher scenes, but they're not for me.
I remember reading an interview with him where he was complaining about the job of always finding 'new talent'. I had never thought of it as a 'job' up until then.
