When you're done you want to try my place?
There are gay men who have that 'house beautiful' gene where everything is tastefully selected, everything stylish and EVERYTHING in it's right place. It's like a museum, or the July issue of House and Garden. You know who you are.
And then there's my lot.
I can keep a few things moderately in line. I never leave dirty dishes in the sink. Certainly never over night. I'm good with laundry. I don't 'make a mess' of anything. And yet everything is a mess. I say I'm going to get to it... By the time I actually get things going there's enough dust and dirt behind and under things the place is practically a bio hazard. There would be less of a mess if my hubby wasn't such a slob.
Actually he's pretty good about keeping HIS spaces in order. (Rooms that have no TVs in them.) But share spaces? I'm on my own. My great fear in life is I will get old, disabled, and he will be the only person responsible for keeping the kitchen clean. -I fear for my life should that happen. I'm hoping we acquire a dish washer before that happens...
And he learns to like using it.
