Might I request members take a look at Anonym URL and sign if the petition if it appeals to them.

Pretty soon, if cunts like those in Hollywood, succeed in putting people in prison for 10 years for "linking to files" despite not hosting them, not even in the US, on US servers, the idea of prosecuting anyone, anywhere, could spread like wildfire. That includes not only TV and film, but porn, given the billions of dollars the industry is worth and aims to protect. It's not just important to sign this petition to save Richard's neck, but to make a stand against these sons of bitches and their greed, who failed to pass SOPA, and so are seeking to take advantage of the law to their own ends, opening the doors to endless attacks on small websites and regular internet users. SOPA/PIPA, Piratebay, Filehosting, etc - the persistent attacks from the same people, CEOs, people who earn millions, but still raise and inflate prices, use cheap labour and employ tax havens without care, and claim it is their livelihood at risk. All this amounts to fucking bullshit!

See Anonym URL for more info.

Please take a moment to sign - it's quicker than a wank!
And could prevent sites like this also becoming targets.

Thanks.

Please keep signing the petition. The notoriously homophobic pig-faced cunt, also known as Home Secretary Theresa May, Tory liar and arse-licker to US lawyers, MPAA moguls and anyone wealthier than the common man, is still insisting on allowing extradition. The more signatures, the better.

Oh my, she does look repulsive :p

Btw on wiki the guy is lined up with terrorists, child molesters and cyber hackers wtf!

Gary McKinnon - appealing extradition for alleged hacking of U.S. military computers without leaving the UK

NatWest Three - extradited to Texas on fraud charges, pled guilty to wire fraud

Babar Ahmad - awaiting extradition on charges of running web sites supporting the Chechen and Afghan insurgencies without leaving the UK

Abu Hamza al-Masri - accused of conspiring with convicted American terrorist James Ujaama

Alex Stone - alleged child abuse, charges subsequently dropped after 6 months in US jail. According to Mr. Stone "there appeared to be no defence to extradition and no evidence at all was presented in this case".

Ian Norris of Morgan Crucible - alleged price fixing (not a crime in the UK at the time and without leaving the UK). Extradition overturned by the House of Lords on appeal[18]. Subsequent extradition request on obstruction of justice charges approved in July 2008[19], extradited March 2010[20].

Wojciech Chodan and Jeffrey Tesler - face extradition over their alleged role in a Nigerian bribery scandal, but argue that almost none of the misconduct they are accused of was connected to the US and that the alleged bribery plot took place mainly in the UK or Nigeria [21][22].

Richard O'Dwyer - extradition request made in May 2011. The extradition request follows the Southern District Court in New York bringing two charges against Richard O'Dwyer for criminal copyright infringement in relation to TVShack.net, without leaving the UK. The two charges, conspiracy to commit copyright infringement and criminal infringement of copyright, each carry a maximum sentence of five years. [23][24]

Christopher Tappin - extradition request made in 2010. Accused of selling batteries to be used in Iranian surface-to-air missiles without leaving the UK. He was approached by US agents asking him to ship batteries from the USA to the Netherlands who sent paper work saying that permits were not required and then sought to have him arrested and extradited. A spokesman for Tappin's lawyers "This is a case in which the Customs agents caused the offence to be committed rather than merely providing an opportunity for the defendant to commit it."[25]As of 24th February 2012, extradition process has been completed and Mr Tappin is in a US Jail awaiting his court appearance. Yes, it's disgusting - but the worst part is, the US has never approved for any of their citizens to be shipped to the UK for trial. It's apparently easier for them to claim one of our people, whether paedos or hackers, with less evidence, than for us to claim theirs with more. For a country that fought a fucking war with us for "independence", our government seems more than willing to bend over for them, without question... the extradition agreement is supposed to be used for dealing with terrorist threats. The MPAA and its cowardly execs are abusing the spirit of it, and that dumb bitch May is letting them get away with it. She's never had kids, so she doesn't truly understand "human rights" from a family point of view - not that anyone would want to fuck a child out of her - she could have turned Barry White gay with that face.

I don't hate Americans, just their power-hungry government and its desire to control everything that goes on in the world as though they're the supreme rulers and everything they say is right. Lawyers, bankers, politicians, etc are all insidious, twisted bastards who pervert society, law and freedom. They should all be taken out and shot!

Only 9% of British public want website founder to face trial in US: The Guardian

Please keep signing the petition, gents. There are over 66,000 members on GH, if only 10% signed, it would still be a significant amount atop the current 222,000 signatures.

For those of you who actively campaign for and support gay rights, this is just another example of democracy at work against a particularly nasty government hold over innocent people and liberty, please help crush it...

Thanks

How ironic that people are now learning that their actions have consequences? Whether it's cyber-bullying, theft or whatever, just because you are sat behind a computer does not give you licence to break the law?

"It's not just important to sign this petition to save Richard's neck, but to make a stand against these sons of bitches and their greed, who failed to pass SOPA, and so are seeking to take advantage of the law to their own ends, opening the doors to endless attacks on small websites and regular internet users."

What? Like the countless 'small websites' who have gone under due to illegal file-sharing? or is it just the 'small websites' who SHARE the content but do nothing to PRODUCE it you are concerned about?

Neither. What matters is the LAW. The FACTS are clear: Richard's site was like this one (GH) - it hosted NO files of its own, was NOT a US hosted website, and made clear that links to illegal material would be removed, i.e. Digital Rights take-down. Also, it was not a "pay to join" site, ads are not like being paid/sponsors, they are just there, and pay what they pay... can't be called "pay" in any logical sense. He was just fortunate to be popular and make a lot of revenue.

Fact remains, the bastards complaining about this bullshit are mainly the MPAA, who are liars, in an industry worth, not millions, but BILLIONS. And the site he had was non-US, so none of their fucking business. The MPAA are nothing but bullies, who pushed for PIPA/SOPA/ACTA, for PirateBay to be blocked, etc. They're just greedy... they lie about the "damage" pirating and copyright costs the industry, and are involved in many controversies, including bribing politicians in the US. Making them scum. Like their cunting lawyers.
