Creating Screencap's for Video and Picture Sets on Mac OSX ?

Hi Guys Does anyone know of a free program to create picture set screencap's and video screencaps on Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard? Any help is appreciated.

may help other mac users too

first, install the perian plugin for quicktime (this is a great plug i have been using for years without any problems, it allows you to open just about any format in qt)

then install screen grabber

S G is easy to use and gives a range of capture styles. the only format i have found it incompatible with is flv

best of all - both are free

have just found this recently as i hope to start posting some vids soon myself. hope it helps
