creating screencaps?

hi lads,

I want to upload a few videos on the site to download, i know how to upload filess and generate links but i'm not sure how to do a series of screencaps for the uploaded movie. do you do it somewhere online or do i have to use a software like vlc or windows movie maker?

any help would be appreciated.

you can use bs player
or media player classic

I use the latter these days because you can choose the amount of screens.
