Dark Souls 2

Hey so as some of you might know, Dark Souls 2 was announced at the VGA's last night. Who's excited for this game and what are you looking forward to in the game?

I am so excited for this! I want more in depth covenants maybe even affecting the story. I want mp back, I didn't really like the limited spell uses.

Dreamer25, That would be sick if covenants would affect the story. Even if it was just a small part.
mr_marvelous, haha do you mean Demon's Souls?

I loved DS so I'm cautiously excited of DS2. Cautiously, because the director has changed and the game is supposed to be more "accessible". Usually (after Dragon Age 2, and before that) more accessible means crap. But it remains to be seen.

anyone managed to played the DLC of DS?
i wonder if its worth the money

I'm pretty sure the DLC is pretty good... My friend and I were playing it and it was really good. Especially when you find Knight Artorias... He ends up killing you. Many times. Haha I'd say it's worth it if you want an excuse to get back into Dark Souls.

The DLC is good but no must have. More geared towards high level characters. I was under the impression that the new areas (espcially the bosses) where even harder than the base game.
So consider yourself warned if you want to try it out.

I loved Demons Souls which hyped me for Dark Souls, even though it ended to be more difficult and (partly) unfair than Demons Souls.
Looking forward to Dark Souls 2. But i am not as hyped for it as i was for Dark Souls.

Hope the PC Port will be a lot better...

I played Dark Souls many times, and I kinda hope your character carries over, or at least get something for playing the first one. I can't wait for DS2. I beat the game at least 5 times, and since then, I've been going around "invading" ppl and giving them items. I know it was hard for me, so I'm trying to lessen the stress and frustration for them. Also, if you didn't know, if someone, helper or invader, drops items in your game, YOU can pick them up. So, if someone is in your game and they drop 99 or 999 soul items, you can pick them all up. BONUS!! Lol

I can't wait until DS2!! It is only a few days away. I'm going for a Int/Dex build, it beat suites my default playing style. I like to either fire off a magic shot and then go in and do some quick jabs to finish them off. What kind of build are you going to use?

While not as good as Dark Souls or even Demons Souls it was still a great,atmospheric experince. As with every gameseries the formula grows stale over time. Glad they try to vary it now with Bloodbourne.
Nonetheless i´m looking forward to the comig dlc pack(s) for Dark Souls 2
