I see the edit/delete button but edit seems to be the only option I can find. Is there a time limit on allowing deletions?

This is a funny situation... I can't remember how it was when I was a Junior Memeber... I think you can only edit your posts but not delete them... anybody who knows more can proof me wrong ^^

If it's the first post of your thread then you can't delete it:

If it's another post and not the first one you can delete it:

So if it's the first post in your thread you want to delete you need to ask a member of our staff to do it for you and you also can do that when it's just a post in a thread.
A short message with 'Please delete' and a link to the post to one of the staff members and s/he will remove it for you. :)

AlSun, I don't see that DELETE button you circled when I go to edit. What I was trying to delete are just replies of mine in someone else's thread, such as about a file problem which I planned on removing since the files are later fixed.

Really? :?
I was not sure if it's a status thing so I tested it (again) but in my case I saw the delete button and I could edit it.
Just sent me a PM and I'll remove the posts for you.

You can also hit the report button on the left (the red triangle ) next to the post and simply write "please delete" in the report reason that comes up. That goes to all the staff so one of us will deal with it ;)

I THINK you get 10 minutes or so when you can delete a post, at which point the options goes. Or something like that.

What you meant is when you want to edit the title of the thread which appears in the list when you open a section of the board.
You can delete a post even after 10 mins also as a junior member.

It's there now

Just checked a reply post and I now have the DELETE button, so maybe I've posted enough?
