Often, it makes me harder to identify...

Honestly, my hair is normally dark brown, but sun bleaches very easily and unevenly, leaving me looking like I've had a very bad frost job. My beard however, is more of an auburn or reddish-brown, with quite a bit of gray. So I usually dye my hair and beard both to match...

Never, even though my beard used to give my a bit of trouble every time I let it grow... My hair is dark blonde, but my beard is reddish-blonde, with some black in it... Now I don't care, but it seemed like I had the German flag painted on my lower face!
(Not that I have anything against Germany, but it was quite weird to see... :? Luckily now my beard is getting more blonde....)

I did some years ago, I dyed it blond, that was when my hair changed colour (slowely turning from blond to white), now that my hair is all white I stopped making it blond.

I did once. I became gray and there was stuff on the market that promised that you would get your old color back. Actually it worked, but looked foolish. You are who you are. I accept my reflection in the mirror. And for the rest of the day, no problem at all, I don't see my head.

Lol when I was around 13, 14 I colored my hair completely blond (I'm brown). And my dad almost killed me

The next day I had to re-color my hair to brown again. If not my dad would throw me out of the house X_X .

So I had two layers of different colors on my hair at that time. Of course the lower layer slowly became more visible through some time. But that was like more acceptable for my folks as this sudden drastic change :)

After that I never felt the need to dye my hair again. Not because of this negative experience but just because I wasn't in the mood.

I was born with red hair (strawberry blond), growing up in Hawaii, my head stood out amoung all the Asian American heads there - and I hated it. I started dying and trying different colors when I was sixteeen. My natural color takes dye easily, and I don't think there's a color I haven't been. I've been through Goth Black, fire-engine red (and I mean screeming Red), blue, and Canary Yellow (it was so yellow I was once called a "smurf" by a child on the street). Now that I''m older, if not more mature, I've gone back to my shoulder length Strawberry locks. Unfortunately; premature grey runs in my family, so before too long I'll probably have to suppliment my natural color. Not an idea that thrills me, as dying requires so much upkeep and expense.

I did a couple of times growing up. My favorite I did a couple of times, I would bleach the roots and keep my hair dark. people would think I was a natural blond and my hair was growing out.
