Dilemma...Suggestions?

Ever been pushed back in the closet? I just relocated to a place where I knew my "lifestyle" would meet less acceptance but I didn't realize it would be like this...I'm from the northeast and just moved to the deep south (names and places have been changed to protect the guilty) and besides moving back, I am wondering what others in my current position have done to make the best of it. I've looked into bars and local groups but I'm worried I'll be "found out"....and yes the job is worth staying for....I think.

I dont know, I wouldnt accept a situation where my own identity would crash with my goals... I mean, you say the job is worth pretending you're not who you are, but then again it got me thinking like I did last year, k I'll get more money there but I wont be myself, if I cant be myself there there's real no point in getting more money, cuz I wont use the way I want except for holidays... I'll be unhappy and closed, no real social relationships around me because they wouldnt ever get to really know me, nothing to hold on to except for a fat paycheck... is it really what you're aiming for only? I prefer having the freedom to hangout with my friends as I am and meeting ppl that'll know the real me, getting home with my bf(when I get another one xD) and not worrying about what my neighbours will think, basically u'll be in a prison with lots of financial benefits...

It's the old story , kid, money ain't everything!! The most important is how happy you are, how safe you feel, and how confident you feel about you and your surroundings.

If you can hold your head up and be proud of who you are anywhere and not worry where you are, then anywhere is good, if you can't then is it really worth it?
