do we all see the same?

what I mean is: do we all see the same color...I know what "red" is to me..but is it the same to you? or do we all just have different views? and we all see differently? lol

The question you speak of is ontological. It's the field of psychological study where one contemplates reality, existence, and the sense of being. Your example 'how do we know that two persons see the exact same colour' is part of that. One could ask whether or not two humans experience softness in the same way, like petting a cat, it could feel entirely different to someone else than it does to you, but since you're unable to EVER convey what it's really like to you to someone else while using only words, you can never BE sure it's exactly the same sensation to the other person.
Take this one step further, and you're experiencing ontological doubt: when your senses are the only thing you can ever trust to provide an image of the real world outside, how can you be sure what you see or touch is actually there at all, or just your imagination? Does thinking something is real make it real?

I met these 2 girls few years ago...both had the same problem.. and there`s actually even an actor...who has the same problem...(the priest from Constantine, the movie) their eyes move fast from the left to the right etc ..they`re like in continuous movement... and apparently they only see black, white and shades of gray ...:| which is weird... plus, there are those who don`t see red or they mix red with green ...can`t remember well...

If we see the same way? the colour? well, some may, some may not... what for me is a dark red , for you can be a darker red or something...

Haven't we discussed this before? When we were talking about me being color blind?

BTW Jamie, I'm one of those people that can't see some colors, mostly shades pink and purple, and I often confuse colors. I rely on contrast to see....

The French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre was sitting in a cafe when a waitress approached him: "Can I get you something to drink, Monsieur Sartre?"
Sartre replied, "Yes, I'd like a cup of coffee with sugar, but no cream".
Nodding agreement, the waitress walked off to fill the order and Sartre returned to working. A few minutes later, however, the waitress returned and said, "I'm sorry, Monsieur Sartre, we are all out of cream -- how about with no milk?"
