Do you agree with the verdict or think it was just a case of Malpractice not Involuntary Homicide

He didn't kill Jackson but rather allowed a dangerous scenario wherein it was very possible. As MJ's physician he was obligated to provide a safe medical environment but failed. He wasn't convicted of murder, but rather involuntary manslaughter. The conviction was appropriate.

Here's the situation: MJ shopped around until he got the doctor that would give him what he wanted, then he paid him handsomely to do it.

Jackson is primarily responsible for his death. No one forced him to take the drugs. He demanded them.

However, doctors need to know that in the end, if everything goes wrong, it doesn't matter how many waivers you've had your client sign taking on the risk - if your client dies because you administered a potentially lethal drug in an off-label use then you are going to prison. Weigh that very carefully against the extra cash that the celebrity is willing to pay.

Where is the poll option for "it's not for me to say guilty or not guilty, because I wasn't at the hearing and didn't have access to all the evidence and testimony that the judge and jury had."?

We don't decide on an accused person's guilt or innocence by polling the general public, and thank goodness for that.

Sadly, I'm actually stuck between it. While I do believe that Dr. Murray was definitely negligent in his actions and may have lit the fuse that eventually made Michael explode hypothetically, one has to look at it from a wider view. This wasn't the only time that the public heard of Michael's fondness for certain drugs.

It ended up reminding me of the very sad circumstances with Anna Nicole Smith: if Dr. Murray wasn't the one to provide Michael with those drugs, another doctor would've easily seen another side of Michael's fame and provided him with what we wanted... I think it's sad overall: fans lost their icon, a family lost their son, brother and father and a doctor who seemed to have a close following with his patients has lost his right to practice medicine.

There are no winners here.
