I'm a guy that just glances at the instructions, but tries to do it on my own!!

then when i cant figure it out, i look at the instructions...and that just fucks me up more hahaha

Depends what the instructions are for

Usually I have a glance, then get down to putting together whatever it is, then it all goes wrong so out come the instructions again

It depends if the thing I have to get to work is mine or from someone else.

If it's mine I don't use an instruction at all or just skim over a text/pics for a second before I start. I normally try the trial-and-error method.

Do I have to do it for someone else I take a closer look at it and after that I start and re-read it from time to time.
