I believe it depends on the cirstances. I ask people to do favors for me. "Oh, if your going there would you pick something up for me?."
Something like that I don't believe is using someone, because I in turn would pick something up for them.
There are definitely cirstances where it's wrong. Bernie Madoff come to mind????

I totally manipulate people for my own or for their own good. You just have to do that so that they don't know it! It's a sneaky bussiness and a great fun and a very good way to have an affect. I think people do it unconsiously too but when you know you're doing it, you know not to go too far with it. Is it wrong? Not when im doing it

Actually, I am very conscious of not taking advantage of anyone because if I must say so, one of my best traits is treating people well. However, I will confess, when it comes to sex..yes, I definitely take advantage of the situation.. especially if the chemistry is there between the two of us..I can be a very naughty...lol

Well it seems that lots of people like being taken advantage of, if they get something in return (flattery, useful services ...). Within reason, it is surely quite widespread behaviour. Then there are also extremes such as that millionaire heiress who made over her whole fortune to some fraudster.
