Never. I honestly can't stand children! You have a child or children and you are done and over! You will be spending money on them before you get it, and they take away your social life! Well, that wouldn't bother me being I don't have a social life!

I can only stand my nieces and nephews. If they're weren't family I prob. couldn't stand them either, LOL. I just don't like children. :\

I have always wanted to start a family,regardless of my being gay. I used to work at a daycare and loved working with children and caring for them. For me, I was there when their parents weren't there( and many would leave their kids there for over 20 hours). I also have a niece,who I ADORE. It might sound cliche,but one day, I hope to have a family and share it with the man I love.....

I am a father of four...and some days i love it and some days i hate it

being a parent is the hardest job there is today...the society today makes it almost impossible. It humbles you...you make so many mistakes...mistakes that you can't undo.

I was the only boy in my family that could pass on the family name because my dad was also the only boy. I had lots of pressure on me to have kids to make sure the name got passed on. I had my first at age 20, way too young to be a parent. I recommend waiting till you at least 35.

i'm glad i had kids, but just wished i had done it different and better.

Many of you are gay and don't think about having families....forget that, you can. i think about it...just coming out gay, finding the right man...and starting a family all over again...I would probably be much better as a gay parent than a pretend str8 one.

I never did want kids, I don't have the tollerance level !! Nor have I ever been in a position to be able to afford one !

I know if one was my own I'd be all gooey eyed and spoil them, but it's never something I desired, and I never met the right girl to even think about marrying, which to me would be essential if I was to have one.

It's not selfish to want to be single, it's more selfish to bring a kid into the world that you can't give the best to. Some are more suited than me

Yes you can adopt, but it's a very difficult process, that goes for anybody whatever sex, but yes it is legal. Gay guys & gals can also get "married" , in all but name, it's called a "civil partnership" but holds the same legal status as marriage.

I would like to be a parent but I feel that one has to be a full person before trying to raise this little thing to be a person of his own. and I don't see myself ever being mature enough to take on that responsibility. and if I ever do find myself at a place where I feel capable of being a good father then I'd probably still want to skip the first five years. The frustration of trying to quiet a crying baby is head crushingly unbearable.

I do have a son. He's 5. He's everything to me but i'm not planning to have anymore.

That's draining enough for me. Great kid though ( which parent wouldn't say that. ).
