Alright... there's a difference between being firm and being a bit catty. Let's be real. For everyone who isn't me or anyone else who actively participates on the Forum; you have to understand that when it comes to ANYTHING regarding a free sort of media; whether it's porn, music, movies, etc.; 90% of the time, a person will sign up, grab what they want and keep it moving. They won't readily hop over to a rules section because they just want what they want.
With porn, it's so much worse. There are many music forums and tv/movie forums that I know of where members pay so much more attention to the rules because there's so much more of a different mindset. Let's be honest for a moment: when it comes to porn, it's majorly for one sole purpose.
To get off.
So, in truth, a lot of people aren't going to take the time while their pants are at their ankles to take the time to read some rules when all they want is a huge cock on their screen. LOL I don't blame the mods or the admins for sometimes having their fill with members, because in truth; they've provided a place not only to get off sexually; but to get off mentally. What I mean by that: you can come and speak your piece as well and show that it's not always about sex.
Now, for the members who do come on here solely for the downloading purposes... is there a way to fix that? Possibly, but since I'm neither a mod, an admin or even someone who truly knows the basics of how VBulletin works (which would be what the Forum is hosted on), I won't comment any further.
And Brmstn; please don't take this offensively, because it's not meant as such.
When you're dealing with a whole bunch of people on this Forum, it's easy to let a bad day get in the way of how you deal with a sour member. If you know you're having a bad day (and this goes out to everyone, not just Brmstn); why not take that into effect and not actively "moderate" until the calm over the storm has passed? Whether it take a couple of minutes or hours, it's always best to be in the right mindset before you make a response to someone. There are other mods and if it gets that heavy, there are admins who can always take the same course of action you would have... and more than likely, they would be in a better mood than you are.
XMan, there are ALWAYS going to be people who complain, whether it's their first post or their 500th. I think it was the word "bitching" that made it seem as if it was coming off a bit harsher than intended. It's all in the way things are worded. I see "bitching" and don't take too much offense to it at all. Had it been, "You're being a bitch"; then, all Hell would've broken loose! LMAO

J/K, of course; but I understand how they would feel after something that took forever to post suddenly got bombarded with a mess of messages about where they posted it. But alas, some people will never be happy. I think your siggy says it best: "Downloaders can't be choosers".
As for if members read the Forum rule... I just explained my whole view on all of that. LOL

I hope I didn't bother any of you with my opinions on any of this. It's been a good long while since I've had something to actively debate on. I forgot I love my brain sometimes!
