Download from ORON

Can anyone help me download from Oron without premium account?

You ain't alone in finding problems with them. I guess you are either getting the message that the waiting time between d/loads is huge, like 3, or 5, or sometimes even over 8 hours!! or you are getting the "You have reached the download limit: 5000 Mb" ... oron is a rubbish service for free users, and if you read these threads you will see it's pretty crappy for some premium members too

I download stuff using the free user service only. JDownloader resets my internet connection to get a new IP address whenever a download limitation hits. I guess this is the only way to download from Oron without problems. Since it is up to the uploader which service to use we have to accept it. I think many people still use Oron for their files because they pay the uploaders for the number of downloads.

Some ppl have a cable-provider and they have a steady IP, they can't change it and Oron isn't hoster who introduced paying people for uploads, i wonder were you are the last years

I never said they introduced pay per download. What I see is that they are quite successful at the moment.

oron is the biggest crap! i cant understand why everyone is using it for uploads. as a premium user u have to wait 3 (!) days after ur download volume (only 12 GB) is used. i will never, never again get a premium account on oron. worst service and hilehoster ever... with this bad system i hope this site won'nt last for long.

this is what oron wrote to me:

We've reset your limit early. Please read below and learn how to use it.
A helpful tip for you.
Try to avoid generating a link and then not download it. When you do that, generate links in advance and fail to start downloading within 24 hours, you lose the amount of traffic needed for this file from your 20000 Limit.

How much can I download?
Free users can download up to 2000 Mb within 3 days. Premium users can download 20000 Mb within any 3 day (72 hour) period, utilizing maximum available speed. If you are a Premium user, but 20000 Mb over 3 days is to low of a limit for you, you can always create another Premium account and keep downloading.

This means that as premium member you have 20000 Mb of download traffic available within any 3 day (72 hour) period. If for example you’ve download 20000Mb on the first day, you will have to wait 3 days until it resets. If you have downloaded 7000 Mb on the first day, 7000 Mb in second day and 6000 Mb on the third day, this means that on the fourth day you will have 7000 Mb and if you don’t use it, on the fifth day you will have 14000Mb and so on.

i dont have any problem downloading in oron its just that its t00 slow.. its like 25kb/sec.. compare to filesonic nd hotfile that is 125kb/sec..

Oron just never works for me, says I have used my download limit, and I have never used it before.

Apparently, it is banned in the UK by some ISP's.
I think it should be banned as a place to upload files to here.

Of coarse, it would seem that the owner of ORON doesn't even have to buy the forums to ruin them, just merely rent ad space...
