Download limits

Would someone please tell me what the daily download limits are for Lumfile, Livefile, Rapidgator, Ryushare and Extabit? Is there a particular reason I should avoid any of these?

Rapidgator = thieves. Stole my money, when I paid for a account. Ignored my request for help.

Yeah, I know this is not my first comment on this matter, but they are shady as hell. Can't vouch for the rest.

Wow! Thank you for informing me. I know its unlisted but I had trouble accessing help and contacting Filesmonster. Unsuccessful or interrupted downloads do count towards your daily 12 Gigs. I've never tried anyone else.

Rapidgator does have a limit. Ten gig if I remember correctly. They have been up and down in quality, but seem to be ok now (at least for the moment).

I don't think Ryushare has any limit that I know of.

None of the filelockers seem to do any customer service. All of them crash and burn eventually. Short term buys cost a little more, but are probably a better bet.

Correction. Rapidgator's daily limit is 15 gigs. I just reached it. Not because I download THAT much stuff, but my downloads kept getting interrupted and I had to restart them.

I would never invest long term in any of these places cause you never know when they could go under.

I think Rapidgator now has different monthly download limits for different premium plans. They have 15 GB and 30 GB per day plans.

Btw just a tip, when buying porn or any online stuff that only accepts credit card, its better to go for a virtual card or a prepaid card. That way you can just burn the card after use so they don't over charge you with subscriptions etc.

i would advise you stay away from Extabit. they have no service at all.
when i signed up they sent me an email with just the log in name and no password. in all my time on the internet i have never had any business do that. it took a week for them to respond to my emais for a password. When they did send me a reply...they all had the exact same information in them. none answered my questions but they did send the password finally. they never responded to any of my other emails about losing a week of time. and as a user i noticed they gave me max speeds of only 175 kbs (that is really slow). i check new video posts every day. i see very few people use them at all. rarely do they have anything i want...but that may be because of my personal interests. my advice is stay away from them if you want to avoid a lot of frustrations and poor service.

I tried livefile this week, 33 gigs for $10 USD. Stay away from them! All 33 gigs expire in 7 days after purchase! Upload and download capabilities sold separately. Most times, max dl speeds were at 30 kb/sec (even when downloading 1 file at a time) while other sites usually give 1 Mb/sec to 2 Mb/sec; support basically said 'too bad'. Finally, within the first 4 hours of activation, my password was mysteriously changed on me, but I managed to reset it.

Well, the ones I know of are Uploaded and Rapidgator.
Uploaded gives you 100 GB (or 50 GB, I don't remember ) when you buy a premium account plus extra 30 GB per day (€9.99 or $13.99 a month).
Rapidgator now has two download plans, 15 GB per day ($12.99 a month) and 30 GB per day for a higher price ($19.99).
Ryushare has also a limit, but I don't remember what it is right now

They offer 15 G per day, but speed is terribly low (about 1 hour 50 mins. for a 245 mega file) Of course, that was the estimate, as I cancelled the downloading. I tried to reach them, but all they say, so far, is that the fault is mine. This has been going on for six days- except for three days I stayed away from home. That something similar to stealing my money, I think. If they give a satisfactory answer, I will let you kow. On the other hand, my experience with Ryushare is just the opposite: fast and efficient

You should be able to see the limits just by visiting the site for any of these. I agree with the advice below - just don't join any of them. If you are just going to download, speed will be slow, so plan it out and start the downloads before you go to bed at night. May as well make use of those "downtime" hours, right?

Most of them seem to have a max of 3 to 4 failed attempts before they tell you your daily limit has been reached...

I have totally opposite experience with r-gator. I've been using premium for several months now and in 99% of files get the maximum speed (for me it's cca. 500KB/s). Occasionally some files download a bit slower or their speed varies, but, since I always have more than one thing on my download list, I just start downloading the second file and together they reach maximum. I'd buy longer premium time, but since the filesharing crisis started, I don't want to commit for longer periods of time. Very satisfied!
