Downloading video from flash players

Can anyone let me know what program is really great to use to download videos from sites that just stream videos. It's for my personal use only. I would really appreciate anyone who could help me.

Personally I'm using Firefox with NetVideoHunter extension.

I use Firefox as well, but with the Download Helper add-on. It's been working really well for me. What's also good with this one is that you can also get all the pictures on a page with just one click. It's not something I've used very often, so I don't know the exact requirements, but the times I've used it, it's worked perfectly.

Firefox download helper or Real Player downloader. The latter is very simple - an invitation to download appears each time you stream a video (if it is downloadable i.e. not retricted by ownership etc). Needless to say you need to have Real Player but it is free so wtf.

I use a purchased program called RIP TIGER. it never fails and the quality is great. you can do a search and it will show up.

For YouTube, there's YTD Downloader (Google it to get the link). It also works with quite a few other sites.

For XTube, there's XTube Video Downloader. Real Downloader always seems to have problems with XTube, at least in Windows.

I'm a Chrome user and both of these work flawlessly every time. They also download faster than the Real Downloader default speed, which is GLACIAL. Real wants you to pay for an upgrade to get faster download speeds. That's plain stingy. I really don't like the company in general. Their video file format (.rm) never really caught on, it doesn't convert well to other formats, and they don't really seem to offer anything else worth paying for. Just my opinion.
