Yep. I live right outside of DC but fortunately there wasn't any real damage near where I was. How are things in your neck of the woods?

Yes. I was at work and we thought the building was coming down! We've never experienced one before so we didn't know what it was at first. We ran out of the building just like everyone else.

Right about now, everything is fine. Since I live in an older building with many, many issues, I assumed the worst and bolted out of the building, with everyone else. We were outside for a few moments afterwards but eventually we all went back inside. No major damage, but there is some minor damage in some neighborhoods (mostly damaged chimneys).

quacking on Facebook like crazy

I felt it! My aunt and I were at the gas station in southern Connecticut and the car bounced around pretty energetically for about 30 seconds or so. I originally though it was my aunt shaking the car, she has done it before. It wasn't until my uncle texted us about the quake that I realized that it was the earthquake. We checked our receipt from the station and we were there when the earthquake hit. Hehe.

It can't have been that big an earthquake if people's first concern is making sure they get one of the T-shirts.
