What do any EU citizens here think about the proposed Lisbon Treaty? What is the general feeling in your country? How do you feel about the European Constitution?
I think I made my views on the EU in another thread recently.
I'm against any treaty like this without the people having a say - hell even the politicians haven't read the damn thing! It's impossible to understand as far as I can tell, probably quite deliberately so.
Until the EU reforms itself into something more open I'll remain against it !!
There is no local provision for individual states to set set certain rates that are appropriate to them to help their own economy. Some have suffered because of this.
The pro-Europeans will always find a good alternative arguement, but most of the basic citizens probably regret losing their own currency and the Brits will hang on to it a lot more than anyone else. You ask any man in the street!!
The Masons are just middle management answering to the Skull & Bones. George H. and George W. Bush are both members, in fact because Ronald Reagan was not a Skull, The Republican National Convention refused to endorse his nomination until he accepted George Bush as Vice President. But again the Skulls are just one tier of the pyramid. At the very top is "The Bilderberger Group", a society so secret that no one outside knows it's name, it's called Bilderbergers, after the hotel in Holland where the first known meeting occurred. During a recent meeting of the group in Italy, police closed down a half mile radius around the hotel and would not allow any media or even tourist with a camera near them. Observers reported seeing many heads of state, royalty, business tycoons and media moguls (like Ted Turner and the editors of at least 5 of the world largest news papers) in attendance. More power, wealth and influence attended this meeting than the G8 Summit, but not a peep was heard in the news...
thank you for your posts, integritas...if my english were better, i am sure we would have a nice dialogue about the neocons, monsanto, rockefeller, rothschild, bilderberg group, michel f., alex jones...so keep your eyes and ears open
The Irish Parliament just passed legislation allowing gay civil-unions! Is Europe good for gay rights, or is it better to pursue those rights via the individual nation-state?
I think Europe is good for gay rights; it was through Europe that the ban on homosexuality was originally lifted (thanks to the wonderful David Norris & Co. ) The best we can do without outside help is half-assed “civil partnerships” apparently.
