The most favorite place I ever was in the sun was Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Along the western coast, the hotel built down along the cliffs and the people couldnt have been any nicer. And I never drank more Tequila in all my life and maintained...lol.

The beach with a good book also!
Took an actual vacation last year for the first time in around 12 years and went to
Cancun, it was AWESOME! I sat out on the beach or by the pool at least 4 hours a day.

I'm an early bird, even at weekends, and that includes holidays (a lot rarer these days sadly!), but I love the beach first thing when there are hardly any there, it's warm, you can pick your spot and just lie in the early morning warmth, take a dip in the sea, dry off and doze listening to all the sounds of beach salesmen, kids in the distance, the sea lapping the shore........heaven!

Funny though, Puerto Ricans don't believe in air conditioning.
