Don't be sad! There are almost 30,000 members on this forum, and you can find many friendly and good friends

It's true that there are many people who only like to use you and they act like they are your friends, but they are not. Forget them, and go on. And accept that that is the reality you cannot change. But don't waste your time with them, just ignore them and be happy with those people who really love you, and I am sure there are enough people who love you

It doesn't matter if you can't see them at the moment; there are always people around you who love you and care for you. If your so-called "friends" have seemingly abandoned you, you must look at it in two ways:

1. Sometimes, we have our own issues and our own hard paths to bare. We aren't perfect and we sometimes forget that we have others that need us. Reach out to them; they might be needing the same things right now.

2. Not every person we consider a "friend" definitely isn't one. You have to be careful who you choose to let into your life. If they are truly unhealthy for you, do not allow them into you anymore; it's best to move on and have your own peace of mind rather than allow too much hell into you.

I'm sorry you feel this way right now, but I promise that given a little time, it will get better. If you need to cry, to scream, to let it out; do so. It's healing to do this... but know you are never truly alone.

Hey Mentat! If you feel alone...drop in this forum, make a thread and tell us u`re sad or something or you can reply in this thread and I`m sure there are a lot who love talking to you...but if you`re never here....people tend to forget to remember :|

Thank you Thor; sorry for not saying hi, I'm often busy and that makes me an awful friend, even worse than I think others are. I'll try to say hi more often.:thumbs up:

The trouble with MSN etc is that unless you use a mic, which I prefer to do, it's difficult to keep up a decent conversation if you're doing anything else. That's why I tend to concentrate on just one person at a time. Could never handle a group typing at me, I just get flusterred and write the wrong thing to the wrong person

Yes that's what happens to me too...talking to several people at the same time is awfully stressing...:worried:
