Fileserve issue

Please help me.. It seems that i cant download any files from fileserve as a free user.. after i put in the captcha and clicked download, all i got was error 404.. Can someone please rectify with me? Thanks..

I would suggest that this is just Fileserve's way of saying, "Our servers are overloaded and you want it for free? You must be joking." Filesharers just hate to admit that they only have limited server space and bandwidth. It makes them look bad. Try again later. Or, try JDownloader, which somehow seems to help these problems and will keep trying while you're away from your PC.

... or the file isn't there anymore. Particularly if the posting was months ago, it's possible the file has since been deleted.

If you copy the links to the posts here we can check them out and see if we get the same error... it may be a regional problem:thinking:

That link works for me - I get prompted to download 174apolo_sandro.rar. (Also, I am a Fileserve premium member - don't know if that makes a difference.)

I also got the link immediately. Fileservers allocate limited bandwidth to free users & they seem to be USA based so you might stand a better chance of getting this file if you try during USA's very early morning hours. I know the USA has different time zones, so you'll just have to keep trying, and on different days. It once took me about 15 attempts spread over a 4 week period to download a particular file I was determined to get as a free user.
