Hard to tell, but most likely it was Ricky Schroeder. We are about the same age and in the last couple of seasons of Silver Spoons there were a lot of shirtless scenes of him. There was also Billy Jacoby, one of the first "hunky" teen stars he had great abs and it seemed like none of the characters he played owned shirts.
