Florida High School Principal Suspends Sean Cody Model For Gay Porn Work, He Can’t Graduate Now
Cocoa High School (CHS) senior and Sean Cody model “Noel,” has allegedly been suspended and will not be allowed to graduate from his Florida high school, after several of his gay porn videos made their way to his principal’s desk.
A reddit poster, who identified himself as the cousin of Noel’s classmate, shared details about the suspension and the student support he received:
Anyway, my cousin is a schoolmate with the model who plays Noel. Apparently this last week word got out around the school that he was in gay porn. He got severely bullied and, instead of helping him, the school will not let him graduate due to him causing a “campus disturbance”. They suspended him for 10 days, which leads to an automatic FA (failure from absences).
Several students planned to protest by wearing support shirts, making posters, and skipping a class. The principle is threatening to automatically expel any student who joins in.
I am still very closeted, and it hurts to hear friends and family think this guy is a sick and disturbed person by being in gay porn.

We were able to find “Noel’s” public Facebook account and can confirm he was indeed suspended from CHS. On Friday, he responded to a friend on facebook by saying: “Coming back to Cocoa isn’t the best for me but bringing justice to the disciplinary system and discrimination of the administration has not slipped my mind either!“
Hundreds of Cocoa High School students have changed their Facebook profile pictures to a blue image with the word “Support” and then Noel’s actual first name.
As word of Noel’s suspension spread like wildfire through the school, a campaign to protest and show their support for their beloved schoolmate began.
Many showed their support by skipping 7th period on Friday and stomping and shouting his name:

One redditor summed up the problem with the suspension perfectly:
A public high school is required to accept all students within its attendance boundaries and while it can suspend or expel students for disciplinary problems, it cannot punish students for lawful activities. For example, high schools cannot punish students for drinking or smoking in property not owned by the school district provided the students are abiding by federal, state, and local law as well as any lawful restrictions imposed by the property owner.
From what it sounds like, the school is punishing “Noel” for participating in a lawful activity which some of the students, faculty, and staff don’t believe he should legally be allowed to do. The latter isn’t “Noel”‘s problem and it’s the [public] school’s job to make sure that he is not harassed during the time he is on school property or participating in school sponsored activities.
Assuming this is a public school, the ACLU will likely want to get involved and the school could possibly be sued for violating the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment. As there is no requirement that one be gay/bi to work in gay porn, any lack of a nondiscrimination policy concerning sexual orientation should not be an issue.
