I have known several and two were straight guys working their way through college. (One of them in law school.) Another guy was a professional broadway dancer that used erotic dancing to keep him afloat between shows.
So like gb2000ie said, the answer is no. But the likelihood probably shifts depending on the city and the type of club.

My co worker was a gogo dancer at a high energy gay Boston dance bar when he was a student at Boston College. Totally straight guy, no way could he be bought. He's married today with a kid. He showed me his pics taken then. Very hot. Built like a boxer, muscled. Today he has gone completely to hell, way overweight, and sloppy looking. Funny as I used to go to that same dance bar yet can't recall him.
He originally worked at the bar just doing grunt work, cleaning, stocking, unloading trucks. The manager asked him if he wanted to dance, he wasn't looking for a gogo job. They always had 2 to 4 gogos dancing and they wore almost nothing. The teensiet scrap of fabric. I still can't believe this guy did this, heyheyhey.

I know quite a few go go dancers since I was a bartender in a gay bar before. To this day, three of my closest friends were some of the go go dancers that frequent the bar and they did it then to help them through college. As of now, they all look very well and keep their bodies in shape and yet, they do not do that anymore ...well, at least for the bar crowds...lol..nonetheless, they have never been brought and they have turned down a lot of offers throughout their dancing career. Although, I do know some who have been brought, however, its not safe to assume they all fall into that category because they danced.
