I know its still Early to Celebrate this specially Event but...I just kindly want to share and Celebrate this wonderful :heart:ly proud Event for Everyone here on the forum

I have attended five Sydney Mardi Gras, and marched in three of them - once wearing only a thong and footwear. Once you have done a few of them though, they get to have a sameness about them. It's a good experience to have had, but it doesn't worry me if I never take part in another one.

I do think they serve an important function though in legitimising alternative lifestyles.Not all gay people are leathermen or transvestites or "cowboys" or "bears", but plenty of us are.

We have a similar, but much smaller, Pride march in Perth, but unfortunately many of the groups here don't seem to have much enthusiasm for putting themselves on display once a year by marching in public.
