Well I think that question should be directed to the older generation who experienced the war.

My grandpa always said, nobody knows what real hunger is, if you not experienced such a situation. He even was in captivity and there he suffered real hunger.

And everytime when he told me about this changed definitely my general point of view and in my opinion we all can be thankful for what we have and hopefully nobody has to find out what it means to be really hungry!

Everybody feels hungry several times a day, every day. For most of us it is a reason to eat something. However there are a lot of places in our world where people don't have the possibility to fill their stomach. It is a shame, because the world could be organized in a way that we could feed all the people.
As Fidel Castro said to Kofi Annan when the subject BIO petrol was mentioned:
"What has become of this world; a world that counts so many people who die of hunger; a world that starts to feed their cars with food?"

Some agency for public opinion wanted to do one worldwide research, especially in States, Europe, China and Africa.
Question was: What's your opinion about lack of food in some (other) parts of world?
Research totally failed.
Chineses didn't know what "opinion" is.
Africans didn't know what "food" is.
Europeans didn't know what "lack" is.
and Americans didn't know what "other parts of world" is.
