Having download problems

Hi,

I'm having problems downloading files with filesonic/fileserve whenever I go to download the link never works... says I have another file downloading(which I don't) Or I have downloaded too many files for that time.

Can anyone help?

Sadly no. If you have a look around you'll see it is happening to many and nobody has found any suitable workaround

I just had the same problem, Studfuck, in FileSonic. For me, the problem just went away by itself *knock on fucking wood*. You might try turning off/on your modem, though. In the meantime, there's tons of stuff on here in Hotfile, Oron, and others. I suggest using the advanced search to select any server BUT FileSonic/FileServer, then you'll know what you'll be able to download without worry. Good luck!

For the best part of a year, Sharingmatrix then, later, Filesonic, never worked for me. It drove me so nuts that I just avoided all SM/FS links. Now Filesonic works OK. Not fantastically well, just OK

For a while Fileserve worked like a charm. Then it stopped working altogether.

Who knows why share sites do what they do or why ISPs will choose to block access to one but not another?

I love my PC but when it denies me access to cock, I could happily stab it with a fork and show no remorse at all.

Im starting to have problems with Filesonic as well. It says I was downloading another file and I wasnt! I only have a premium account with Fileserve. Im not gonna buy another premium account with another host. Anyone else has this problem?

The same problems. Fileserve not working. Oron not working - it tells me I have downloaded a massive ammount when I have downloaded nothing in weeks.

Yes, this Filesonic is getting to be a pain in the ass. Worst seems to be if there is a download failure. If that happens and you try to re download, for hours- sometimes a whole day-, the damn thing tells you you're downloading even if you're not...frustrating in the extreme!

Oron? well thats possibly the worst of the lot!
if you do manage to complete a download and try another, best course of action go out for dinner and a two hour walk or something and you may just get a chance for another download!

Other day they informed me I have to wait 4 hrs and 48 mins for next download! No thanks i got better things to do with my life. How that useless crap service manages to stay in business is beyond me!!

Cant understand why people even bother with such crap when there are far better services out there and one does not mind sometimes signing up for premium.For example Megaupload has always been pretty reliable at reasonable cost.
and of course best of all Mediafire, the performance of a premium account -but free!

There's a reason for the wholesale switch to services like Filesonic, Fileserve and Oron...people wishing and choosing to make money from what they share.

Though, I agree with you about Oron. I don't know anyone who's had trouble-free downloads. Quite why anyone would buy a Premium Account after seeing just how shit the free one is, is beyond me.

Uploaders will flock to better affiliate programs, that's the bottom line. Megaupload used to be popular but other file hosts offered more to uploaders - cash and service wise. Megaupload for me is the slowest file host in terms of uploading, and they never improved that nor their affiliate program of gaining points only to files below 100 MB (most porn vids now are above 300 MB).

Hotfile, Fileserve and Filesonic are the three bigger filehosts that offer reasonable download speeds to free users but at the same time have a competitive affiliate program.

As for Oron, they don't really cater to free users - that's their business model. They only want people who buy premium. So if you see an Oron thread that you like and you don't have prem, you're better off skipping it.

If you are looking for file sharing for file sharing's sake then stick with torrents

Fileserve seems to be working again, at least for me. I've downloaded a file after several weeks of not being able to.
