Yes, you need to relax. If you are not relaxed, you will clinch your anus, and it will hurt as a beginner. You could try some fingering and rimming first, to go slow. Adding to what others have said, the keys are lube, relaxing, breathing and patience. It is natural to feel the urge to relieve yourself the first time as this is an exit hole and whenever it senses anything in there it tries to push it out. You have to work against this instinct and let it stay (and exit and enter again). Lube helps with that part, it lets it slide in easier and out (and back again). Relaxing also helps in the entry as you don't want to resist it entering you, you have to let it happen on a constant basis. And lastly patience, be patience with yourself and the top will have to be patience with you in this. For cleaning yourself, get an anal dusch. You can clean yourself before hand with that. Also lots of fiber in your diet will keep your stool hard and intact, so it wont mess and when pooping, it will all come out in one nice package. And it's good for you too Also don't eat right before the show.

If you think all that is bit too much work, you should think of it more as you are really preparing well for a nice thing.
