Help with download problem

Help! I can't seem to play some of the video I have downloaded. Either it plays half-way or it doesn't play at all. Most of the file downloaded are from filesonic and I have tried downloading with both firefox and google chrome but to no avail... What can I do in order for me to watch the videos? Everytime I download, the file name would be something like this "JPBOYZ-The_ninja_seduction.wmv.001" I am sure I have completely downloaded the entire file so please help me

Files ending with something like .001 are not entire movies, they are only segments that need to be joined with a proper program. If you google for "hjsplit" you can find a program for Windows which can join the files for you. Only the file joined from all segments is completely playable. There is another thread in this section suggesting programs to do the same on MacOS.

The reason why the files are segmented is easy: most filehosters do not support large files for free download.

HJSplit only works for files ending .001; .002 ; .003 etc

If you d/load files ending in .rar then you will need another program "WinRar" to open/join them ... but just like HJSplit you can download a FREE copy

Now I understand my problem. I thought the different links provided are just mirrors of the videos. So basically I have to download from all the links provided in order to join and get the full movie. Thanks for the help
