My porn that is stored on my external hard drive was dragged and dropped into my AppleTV library on my Mac (iTunes if you're a PC user)
I labeled the stand alone scenes with StudioName: Name of Scene [Scene Number if it's from a movie] (Porn stars in brackets)
If the thumbnail wasn't available I made my own.
Home Movies is stand alone scenes while Movies, obviously, is the full movies. The thumbnails aren't DVD cover art anymore so I had to change around a few things in photoshop.
Now I can watch it on my Mac, iPhone, iPad and AppleTV on TV.
It's like having my own personal PornOnDemand but it's ALL MY FAVORITE PORN

All my downloaded files are stored on an external NAS box

Initially I have a "Downloaded PORN" folder and then Month within that folder.

Initially before I file things away I copy the current months porn stash to a NAS Box that has FTP so my mate can download all the naughtieness

Then after a while when Im bored I move the stuff the studio folder. I have about 30 ish Porn Studio folders where stuff is stored. Everything else that is left is just filed in the "Downloaded PORN" folder.

Im a horder, I never really delete stuff. So when the NAS box runs out of space I get another NAS box. Im on NAS box 8 at the moment, which only has around 400GB left of space on it. So next month I will be turning on the 9th NAS box. Yes I bought the next NAS box last month as I know it was getting close to filling up. The current NAS box has 12TB of space as so does the new one waiting to be turned on.

When I fill up the 9th NAS box, Im going to have to get a bigger network switch as it is maxed out at the moment!

I use Western Digital external hard drives too.
I occasionally have the urge to delete...but that's work. And new hard drives with HUGE storage are available...at a reasonable cost.

I store my stuff on encrypted external hard drives and I am currently at drive number 5, but for each drive I have a second copy to avoid data loss in case of a drive crash. It just takes so much time to collect and sort stuff that the price for a backup hard drive is neglectable. At some point I might consolidate the older drives to a larger one.

I sort the material in folders using different categories. Each time I move stuff to the external drives, I start an indexing script which indexes all file and path names. In addition, I now have a script which thumbnails all videos. I do this to be able to find out quickly if I already have a certain video and it is also good to find stuff.

I also keep my favourite vids in a directory on my computer. These vids are indexed and browsable through a piece of software called stash app ( https://anon.to/PYF4HI ), which is an open source project aimed at organizing a private porn collection. It is not complete yet but has improved a lot over the last months, and it is fun to use it and to browse the collection. It also runs on several platforms.

I sort most of my videos in folders based on porn star names in alphabetical order. I also have a folder that's mostly for amateur porn; I think that might actually be my biggest folder of all. Admittedly though, my collection itself is rather small, so I've never felt the need for an external hard drive.

All files kept on a PC and backed up monthly to a primary and secondary external hard drives. Folders organised by a mixture of porn star names, studio names and the inevitable Miscellaneous folder which just keeps getting bigger. I'm intrigued by the stash app mentioned by ton in comment 7 though. I might give that a go. Be interested to hear if anyone else has tried that.

Yes, I'm a hoarder like others here. Over many years, I have collected mostly picture sets and have them organized by studio and model (mostly twinks)...a couple of TBs on external hard drives. Plenty of organizing work to keep it all neat and orderly. (Yes, I'm a bit anal retentive...ha, ha).

More recently, I've been collecting videos - mostly twink fuck scenes...you know the studios. Always happy to talk about and share.
