Well... I'm quite fond of my sleeping time, so the longest I went without sleep would be 2 days, without any help but two cans of Coke...:)

I only once stayed up for 4 days and 3 entire nights only with coffee... (it was in a sad period of my life)
In other times, I only stayed up for 2 days and one night of partying :)

Four nights.

Had a problem with my wrist. The pain was absolutely unbearable! The worst was over the weekend. It's a unique type of problem so I knew I couldn't go to the hospital or emergency room. Monday morning I was sitting at work, wonder how I got there, and what I was doing?
I told the owner I had to leave and went to see my Dr. a Rheumatologist. He put a cortisone shot in which caused more swelling. He told me to go back to work because there were people there in case things turned worse. I live alone so he didn't want me going there. Shot started helping after 4 hours.
When I got home I sat down on the bed to change cloths, and tipped over and fell asleep till the next day.
Two weeks later I had to go in from surgery to clean up all the damage. The surgeon told me it was an absolute mess in there and the swelling cut off the nerves, and some small arteries. The pain was from everything being crushed and the muscles being fed by the crushed arteries died. He figured my body wouldn't let me sleep because it knew that I needed to keep moving the hand to keep blood flow going, or I would have lost everything. It took ten months before I could lift and pour a half gallon of milk, without dropping or spilling.

Well, that time I ended up sleeping for just 12 hours....:blushing: Unfortunately, I can't sleep more than that anymore: after 10-12 hours of sleep I always wake up, it seems like there's always something I have to do, and do it quickly...:?

1 Full Sunny Day plus one night and then 1 more sunny Day. After that I crash and I'm as dead as a doornail. Some people, not me, is obviously built to party, obviously I'm a wallflower in comparison. :)

Last time I went to an all night party and headed home about 8.30am on a Sunday morning (not alone, which was an unexpected bonus :p ) I was zonked pretty much for 2 days! I realised I can't do it anymore so don't even try now. I never need too much sleep, 6 hours is about my max then I wake up naturally. Wish I lived in spain where I could have an afternoon siesta! Naps are good for you. I hate afternoons, that's the time I'd always prefer a sleep :p

4 days. I had to learn for my exams last semster and didn't manage to get everything into my little brain through the day, so i had to stay up...
I had to drink espresso to stay awake. But I usually don't even drink coffee because I hate it's taste... After two cups of espresso I was like :hypnotized:

About 60 hours I think, maybe longer. I was on my way to Africa for a summer internship, and my route was not easy. Three flights each between 8 and 10 hours, a 12 hour layover at Heathrow, another in Dubai, after leaving in the evening and arriving in the morning. If only I could sleep on planes.

Oh yeah, I know that feeling... a few yrs back I went to Beijing the cheap way... 8 hrs London to Bahrain - Gulf Air , what an airline! (with a 6 hr stopover), 6.5 hrs Bahrain to Bangkok, Gulf again. (and a 7 hr stopover), 2.5 hrs Bangkok to Hong Kong,Dragon Air (and a 6 hr stopover), then 2.5 hrs to Beijing, Dragon Air again.. sleeping on planes - I wish!!! I should have paid the premium prices and taken an 13 hr BA or Emirates direct flight.

It's funny, I was actually on Emirates, which is what added an extra day to the trip essentially. If I had only taken BA it would have been far easier, but Emirates was cheaper. Makes a good story I guess. :p
