I hate Hospitals!!!

just got back from going to hospital (had to get my arm checked, It wasnt a spider bite) lol

some kinda infection, they cant even tell me what type...sheesh, why did i even bother

anyway, as I'm sitting waiting to see the doc......she finally popped in after an hr!!! but I'm sitting there thinking how much i just wanted to get up and leve...i just cant stand hospitals or doctors offices

they gave me free antibiotics... hope my arm doesn't fall off soon lol

and trust me, all those pins in my bones and after they took them off, 4 months of therapy... it wasn`t so easy but, in the end, all`s well SO will be your hand too! Patience is a virtue! In hospitals it`s like that all over the world... when I had the accident (a machine at work caught my hand and I had all 3 bones broken) they let me stay with blood and pains for more than 2 hours on the halls there...until I went and asked: but what`s gonna happen to me? And the lady there was like: oh, but they didn`t give you a bed yet? cause they have to perform surgery! And I told her: no, I`m on these halls for more than 2 hours...

lol babe, does it take all day there? I was in and out in less than 3 hrs, and thats because my blood pressure was soo high 235/123...they made me wait till it went down a bit, but still way to high

well, actually it was my rand hand ...my right hand = my wanking hand ) don`t worry! I was with a dead hand for more than 5 months...i learned to use the left hand

I read somewhere that good quality dark chocolate can actually help lower it too!

it was!!! My God! I had to sleep for a few months in only one position all night long...on my back with the right arm in a certain position otherwise the pins would move and it hurt like hell! :| couldn`t even stay in front of the monitor for more than 10 mins...

LOL! no passing out! I had to change the bandage (including cleaning the wound , the places near the pins, etc.. )on my own every 2-3 days for more than a month...:|

LOL! Now I wank back with my right hand it still hurts sometimes and they said I will always feel some discomfort when there are changes of air pressure... and I do feel pulses of pain inside those bones when the weather changes

I have a hospital horror story....I was in the hospital for a nose job-a broken nose correct from football. The nose surgery went fine, then a couple of days later, i started to get to get a fever. They let me know...seems i contracted a staph infection during the surgery and the infection seems to be eating away my nose cartilage. They put me on IV antibiotics for 2 weeks in the hospital...was a living hell. Got the infection under control, but had to have nose surgery again to replace the cartilage with plastic....i really do have a plastic nose.
I should have sued the hospital...but i didnt. Every since...i have no trust of doctors or hospitals.

Holly!! OMG intense! the staph infection is horrible! I`m glad they fixed you in the end! A plastic nose is way better than NO nose at all!And yeah, you should`ve sued them...

That looks painful.Hope you didn't get screwed by 'workman's comp' or whatever system you have where you are.Intellectually,the x-ray & photo were fascinating.Emotionally,OUCH!!!
