Image Grabber II & VLC Media Files

I have a very hot little clip that I want to post in VLC Media format, but I can't seem to make screen caps using Image Grabber II. It can play the file, but only the audio, so all screen caps are black.

Any ideas?

First I downloaded (by mistake) a version of KM Player that didn't support story board. But now I've got the right version and it worked great.
