Intentionally mislabeled links

Hi All,

I've been seeing several instances where posts will say that the links are Rapidgator but when you drill down they are actually another host.

Anyone else seeing this? Is there anything that can be done about this?

Hi abruma,

If you detect such posts, please use the report button found on the buttom left of the post, that looks like a triangle, and one of the staff members will look at it.

I doubt that the threads were intentionally mislabeled, it is more likely that the posting member started with one file host and then changed to another. This happens for a wide variety of reasons. If you report the threads that you notice this in, they can be corrected by any staff member.

Prob a simple case of the file was deleted by one host and the poster now uses a new host and just kept the same thread and replaced the links.

I am more concerned with the bait and switch titles of threads.

thats why when i have had to switch host i always start new threads with that host.
