You're right that the distinction makes no sense.

Personally, I think prostitution should be legal and regulated, so as to provide a safe working environment for the girls and guys selling the sex.

Only in California... The other 48 states have laws making the filming of porn illegal, not that their always enforced.

What's really funny is that prostitution is legal in Nevada, but filming porn is not...
