"Live and let Live" - certainly my view.

I don't want to tell the Catholics how to live, and I sure as heck wish they'd stop imposing their views on everyone. What business do Catholic Bishops have in trying to influence civil laws? Church and state should be separate, or you end up with theocracies like Iran!

I think that's the long way of saying I agree with your sentiment - even if I don't believe in hell, and wouldn't wish it on anyone if I did.

My feeling is that the internet has created a much more intense and close social system. Even total strangers can comment on what you (or others) post in a public forum. Since it's all in the public eye and usually very anonymous, anyone can mix it up in your biz. So the moral is keep your private stuff offline, and no one will comment on it.
