what kind of answer you're awaiting from us when you're giving no chance to know what are you talking about?

I think I know of what he is talking about.

It depends on what the truth is about.

If you are telling a friend "the thruth" it may be, depending of what the truth is about, that you loose this friend if it concerns him and he can not be your friend any longer knowing this; but also in the other way it may be a bonding for your friendship if this "truth" makes him happy or relieves him.;)
Sorry my bad english, I hope the meaning comes over.

Yes, it looks clear now. Excuse me. I was bit tired at the morning.
Well, it happens. It's no reason to feel bad. Maybe is better telling truth immediately. I do that, So I check out if friend is real or fake. Just don't waste time with idiots.

Sometimes it's better to be a listener, not a teller. If your friend isn't ready for a truth, you may just loose a friend.
Sometimes it's a great help to nudge them towards the truth. If they can figure out the truth themselves ( with a little nudge maybe), it can be a revelation, not an accusation. And they can act on it in a good way.

But if it's the clear choice between truth or lie, try for the truth. When lies are exposed, trust is really damaged. Even if the lie was with good intent.

If you tell an uncomfortable truth risks of losing a friend.

If you do not say you might lose it anyway.

I run the risk and tell him the truth.

If I miss his friendship for being honest .. even with a broken heart, I might change my mind about his friendship.

I hope I have described, without confusion, what I really feel about this delicate subject.

No, say the truth is not wrong.

But sometimes people do not want to hear it and not appreciate it.

The truth can not separate you from a true friend, only from a not so true a friend.
